CPR And AED Training — All You Need To Know

CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training is a program that people that people undertake in order to have proper training on emergency response. Training program on CPR is given to develop skills to recognize and respond accordingly to cardiovascular emergencies and other situations like choking, breathing problems etc.

  

These courses for CPR, AED certification are formulated specifically to meet the legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards. It also meets the particulars of the latest CPR guidelines. You will be given a thorough training on how to use AED. Now depending on the level of CPR, AED Training chosen, the level of the course changes.

Levels:

  • Level A — Adult CPR and AED that deals with choking, strokes and heart attacks.
  • Level B — This level is a part of the child care course and is available in that category. It teaches emergency care the same as level A but includes how to respond to the same with kids.
  • Level C — This one has added advanced skills such as 2 rescuer CPR. First responders, lifeguards etc. are taught this level.
  • Level D — It contains BLS or Basic Life Support. These are for Health-care providers. Contains all the skills taught in the a above levels and also has bag & mask skills, rescue breathing etc.
